As a matter of fact the day that I was there (Friday)the salon was supposed to be open until 7:00 p.m. I’ve seen work coming out of the salon that looks amazing but to me what’s most important is customer service and while the owner was gone customer service was horrible. The day after she returned from vacation I noticed that she posted on her Facebook page a live video about how business owners and entrepreneurs deserve to have vacations and to be able to be sick without clients being angry which is very true but what else needs to be addressed is how the nail techs and staff treat their clients when she is away or any other time. I don’t blame her for taking a vacation because all business owners deserve them but part of being a business owner is also addressing customer complaints or issues once returned from vacation. Your appointment time may need to be slightly adjusted closer to your appointment.

It has now been 4 days since she is returned from vacation, she has not called me or responded to any of my messages that I sent to her on Facebook. The owner was on vacation so she is not at fault for the unprofessionalism and how far the nail techs were behind but a mutual friend of ours reached out to her to let her know what happened and she said that she would call me when she returned from vacation. The pedicures is turned out great but we were there a total of 3 hours and never got my nails done. Become a VIP member of onyx and receive special discounts and offers TEXT ONYXNAILS TO 84. An hour went by before the nail techs finally came to start our pedicures. I knew the song that was playing and started quietly singing again and the same nail tech loudly said can somebody turn up the music as if they were trying to drown me out or get me to stop singing.

One of the nail techs loudly said can somebody change the music to the girls at the front. As I waited for my friend to arrive music was playing and I was quietly singing to myself. I arrived a half an hour early for my appointment and was asked to have the pedicures done first so my friend joined me earlier than our scheduled Pedi appointment.

The way I set up my appointment was to have a full set first and then have a friend join me for a pedicure after. Channel your favorite drink, an almond latte, with a muted hazel shade, experiment with a super-dark cocoa color, or go all out with a sparkly bronze. This was my first time at the salon after hearing rave reviews about it and seeing their work and I got tired of getting mediocre pedicures and acrylics/gels at other places.
